Author Guidelines
General Information
The paper submitted for presentation at the International Conference on Arba'in and Culture of Resistance should be original research work with high academic merit. It should be free from plagiarism. The papers that do not meet the requirements will be rejected. Please prepare your paper following the conference guidelines before the submission.
Submission criteria
Manuscript submitted for presentation at the International Conference on Arba'in and Culture of Resistance should be appropriate with the following criteria:
- Written in good English
- Suitable to the themes of the conference
- Well-formatted following the conference papers' style
Preparing paper file
The paper should be between 4000 and 9000 words long. It must be prepared using word processing software, e.g., Microsoft Word with the document format doc or docx. It should be typed in Times New Roman font with broad margins (2.5 cm). The pages should be numbered consecutively throughout the paper. Keep the document as simple as possible and avoid the complex format. The paper should include the following sections:
- Title Page: The first page should contain the paper’s title, the complete name of all authors (first name and surname), the institutional affiliations, and the complete mailing addresses of all authors. The title of your paper should be both concise and informative while also being presented in bold with the initial word capitalized. Please limit it to 20 words.
- Abstract: This paragraph should succinctly cover the background, objectives, methodology, results, and implications of the research in clear and formal English, without exceeding 200 words and avoiding abbreviations or citations.
- Keywords: After the abstract, it is essential to include keywords that concisely encapsulate the entirety of the paper within a range of three to six words.
- The main body of the paper: The main text of the paper should contain the following sections:
- Introduction: This section should present a comprehensive overview of the study's background, addressing emerging issues, the importance of the research, and the research objectives. It incorporates a thorough literature review encompassing recent studies, research gaps, and proposed contributions.
- Methods: This section should give details of the methods used in the study.
- Results: The findings of the study should be described in this section. The description of the results may contain tables or figures that represent the data. The tables or figures should be presented clearly.
- Discussion: The section of discussion should explain the results, which are associated with the results of previous studies, critically analyzed, and linked to the relevant literature. The discussion should also be ended by pointing out the limitations of the study.
- Conclusion: The conclusion should be brief, clear, and concise. This section should be based on the findings and discussion and give recommendations for further studies.
- Acknowledgment: The list of individuals or institutions that provide help for the research should be provided in this section at the end of the paper.
- References: Ensure that every reference cited within the paper is appropriately listed in the reference section, adhering to the American Psychological Association (APA) Referencing Style (7th Edition). It is advisable to prioritize references from the last decade, ensuring the incorporation of recent and relevant literature.
